Mary Ellen Pichiarello, M.S., CRC, LPC
Hello, thank you for taking the first step in your counseling journey. I’m excited to guide you through your next major life transition or coach you toward achieving your personal goals.

I offer my clients a perspective cultivated from a diverse range of experiences, spanning professional and career-oriented achievements. I earned a B.A. in Health Services Administration from Marywood College and an M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Scranton. I have been a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) since 2006 and am now a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) as well.

For over 20 years, I have worked in higher education, where I have helped students achieve academic success by teaching them how to become self-regulated and independent learners. This involves assessing the unique needs of each student and providing them with the necessary tools to enhance their overall educational experience. I work one-on-one with students to identify their learning styles, improve organizational and time management skills, and increase motivation to achieve their academic goals. Through these methods, I have coached students facing academic or personal barriers to achieve success. This position has given me experience working with numerous employers, school districts, and government agencies, and I bring that knowledge to my clients.

I specialize in working with individuals with disabilities, but I have worked with a diverse range of clients. I strive to create individualized plans that allow clients to progress at their own pace based on their unique needs. I recognize the importance of establishing a relationship with each client to meet them where they are in their journey. I use my education and my decades of experience in higher education to guide individuals through major life transitions, such as career changes or academic pursuits or advocacy.

Don’t hesitate to reach out because I promise to serve as both your coach and advocate in the pursuit of your therapeutic goals.
